Sobre este artículo
Franklin Center, PA: Franklin Library, 1979. First Edition. Hardcover. FINE. Bellerose, Mark. Franklin Center, PA: The Franklin Library, 1979. First edition. 9 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches: pp. [18], 449.
This First Edition Society volume is bound in forest-green, full leather with gilt decorations on both front and rear boards. The classic hubbed spines of four raised bands have gilt text and decorations stamped in the five compartments. Emerald green silk moire end papers have a sewn-in silk ribbon bookmark. Pages are thread-sewn for strength and durability, have long-lasting, acid-neutral, archival quality paper, and a handsome, readable typeface.
This book appears to never have been opened or read. Clean, tight, bright. A compassionate and wry commedia, a book praised by Christopher Lehmann-Haupt in The New York Times as Malamud's "best novel since The Assistant"
