The rare third issue (of six total) of this short-lived Playboy clone aimed at a black audience. Designed by pioneering African-American graphic designer LeRoy Winbush with a strong aspirational feel. This issue includes an excerpt from James Baldwin's "Go Tell It On the Mountain" (presented as a short story entitled "Carnal Moment"). Also "The Day Negroes Left Earth" by Ray Bradbury and "Negroes Don't Know Anything About Jazz" by Billy Taylor. This copy has a moderate musty aroma and a pinhole to the first half (presumably from the centerfold having been displayed) but otherwise is unmarked (aside from a pencil mark to cover) with some overall wear.
