Alice Farber. 48pp. Red blind-stamped cloth, gilt title lettering, frontispiece engraved portrait with tissue-guard, INSCRIBED by AUTHOR. Very light wear and tiny split to rear joint, contents are clean. Inscription on front pastedown reads : "Hon. Amasa Walker from his friend the Author." Walker was a U.S. Congressman from Massachusetts. An early publication on the study of phrenology.

This book recounts, in novelized form, the biblical story of Abraham and Sarah. The hardcover binding is somewhat shaken, and there is foxing on the pages. The dustjacket is 90% intact with some missing pieces. On the front endsheet is a tipped-in paper inscribing the book to a fan, with the author's signature. This is a unique copy of a hard to find book, and will make a fine addition to the library of a discerning collector.
