Sobre este artículo

Cover is scuffed and marked. Colour is vivid on front cover, pages are tanned. No marks, inscriptions or ownership marks.Hard to find Australian variation from the series of four colouring books. The Australian variation omits the CBS advertising for Saturday morning cartoons and was replaced by a duplicate of the title page. Inerestingly it is attributed to three illustrators with interesting comic and publishing careers.

Jane Stine nee Waldhorn is married to R.L Stine (author of the Goosebumps series) Jane and Bob Stine collaborated on a number of books in the early eighties. In 1983 Jane Stine established Parachute Press and gained notice with the 1989 publication of R. L. Stine's Fear Street series, followed in 1992 by the release of the first of Stine's Goosebumps series. Parachute is now a multi-media company producing content for pre schoolers through to young adults.

John Tartaglione's first confirmed work as a comic-book inker is the six-page story "The Mad Monk!" in Amazing Detective Cases #6 (May 1951), from Atlas Comics, the 1950s forerunner of Marvel Comics.

His first confirmed penciling art is the six-page story "The Man Who Walked The Plank", for the same publisher's Young Men #11 (Oct. 1951). Tartaglione thus began a long association with Marvel that found him penciling suspense, adventure, sports and crime stories — signing his work a variety of ways including "Tartag", "Tar", "Leone" and "JT" — though he was most prolific in romance titles, illustrating more than 120. Comics historian Mark Evanier wrote that Tartaglione at Marvel "became the 'go-to' guy when a project came along that required historical research and/or spiritual themes. He was therefore the perfect artist when, in 1982, Marvel issued a comic-book biography of Pope John Paul II that through various religious channels sold well into the millions, leading to a follow-up book on Mother Teresa"

Jim Mooney was born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles. Friends with pulp-fiction author Henry Kuttner and Californian science-fiction fans such as Forrest J. Ackerman, he drew the cover for the first issue of Imagination, an Ackerman fanzine that included Ray Bradbury's first published story, "Hollerbochen's Dilemma". Kuttner encouraged the teenaged Mooney to submit art to Farnsworth Wright, the editor of the pulp magazine for which Kuttner was writing, Weird Tales. Mooney's first professional sale was an illustration for one of Kuttner's stories in that magazine.

In 1946, Mooney began a 22-year association with DC Comics. He began with the series Batman as a ghost artist for credited artist Bob Kane.Mooney co-created Adventure Publications' Star Rangers with writer Mark Ellis, and worked on Superboy for DC Comics, Anne Rice's The Mummy for Millennium Publications, and the Creepy miniseries for Harris Comics. Mooney also produced many stories for the 166-issue run of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark and became the regular inker on writer Peter David's Soulsearchers and Company,
