Toronto: Macmillan Company of Canada, 1941. 13 pp, 8vo (8 1/2" H) - dark blue cloth with gilt title on front board. Signed on title page: "E.J. Pratt". Limited edition reprint: "Three hundred copies of this edition of 'Dunkirk' have been printed especially for Messrs. Johnston, Everson & Charlesworth, Christmas, 1941. This Copy is No. 106." E.J. Pratt's poem of the Dunkirk rescue. Pages browning lightly - a little more on the endpapers, staples starting to rust, a few tiny faint ink marks on the title-page, light wrinkling at bottom of spine, light browning to the edges of the text block. Dust jacket has light edge wear, light soiling/rubbing, light to moderate browning - mainly at the edges and on the spine and flap-folds, a few small edge chips/tears, small hole on spine, irregular shaped 2" long x 3/8" deep piece missing from top of spine/rear hinge area - now protected in removable mylar sleeve.. Signed by Author. No. 106 of Limited Edition of 300 Copies. Hard Cover. Very Good/Fair.
