Durant Motors Inc. a relatively short-lived automobile manfacturer established in 1921 by former General Motors CEO William "Billy" Durant following his termination by the GM board of directors. Initially the firm enjoyed some success, primarily due to Durant's previous track record at General Motors, but long-term sales proved to be less than necessary to maintain production economies, and the firm went out of business in 1931. This a rare advertising brochure from Durant Motors; OCLC locates no copies of it, and in fact, only 2 Durant pieces are recorded by OCLC, each in a single copy.
