Edith Nesbit was born on August 15, 1858 and this book chronicles her parentage and early life, her childhood in France, the Victorian and Edwardian eras, through to her death in 1924. The author has revised her 1933 biography and added new material. Cream cloth boards with writing to spine and green and red embossed patterns to front cover. Some marks and a little dirty. Shelf wear and some bumping. Clean pages, binding a little loose. AB55
