Clean blue boards with green cloth spine, gold lettering on spine. No bumping or wear; slight fading to edges. Binding is tight & square, no cracking; pages and edges are clean. Red endpapers, with previous owner name and place written at top edge of front free endpaper. 243 pp. Jacket has hint of very faint soiling, is not price clipped (4.95 on front inside flap), very shallow chipping at top and bottom spine edges. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. A fictional reminiscence which pays tribute to the reckless abandon, generosity of spirit and unconventionality of the author's father. The setting is France in the period between the Great Wars (1918-1939)..
