Sobre este artículo
Seely & Co., London, 1890. Book. Very Good. Cloth. Number 44 in a limited edition of 100 large format sheets with 14 copper engravings, proof copies of which are mounted and bound into the book. There is wear and rubbing to the exterior, and, though still extant, several pages have separated from the binding. There is a slight bit of foxing to the interior pages consistent with age. A previous owner's bookplate is pasted to the inside cover, with the original owner's name inscribed on the front free endpaper. There are numerous other illustrations of works by major English watercolor painters of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Quarter leather with gilt top edge and stamping to the spine and cover. The lush engravings of bucolic English countrysides and stormy ocean scenes are beautifully printed and a pleasure to view, with an interesting text. Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
