The listing refers to Mary Ann Roberts but Mary Ann Rawson [1801-1887] appears to be the correct name. Mary became secretary of Sheffield Ladies Association for the Universal Abolition of Slavery in 1837.. 1st Edition. Hardback. Fine. 8vo.
