Intro by president of the First Nat'l Bank of Roswell. Hinkle arrived in Lincoln County, New Mexico, in 1885 with "a trail herd of 800 cattle..." He was eventually elected to the territorial senate, & was "Roswell's first full term mayor." Fine 6-Score 58, Herd 1041, Dykes Kid 245. n.d.
