Very good + green cloth hardcover with top page edges gilt, gilt letter and decoration to spine, circular gilt decoration to center of cover with black border decoration to same, shows some very light shelf wear to covers, some light soil to page edges, previous owner name stamp to front end paper, and some other mild trace wear. 447 pages with frontispiece illustration of Lowell and followed by 14 pages of other Burt publications. This is not the more common Home Library edition but lesser found green cloth binding that includes the great American poet's early work.
