Sobre este artículo

Southern Methodist University Press, Dallas, 1956. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition (ex-library)/Fair. Illustrator: Photographic. preface by authors, acknowledgements introduction by authors. The text is illustrated with copious black-and-white photographs of the various houses described. A previous owner has placed contact plastic on the dustwrapper which has attached it to the hardback binding – all I can tell you is that the binding is green. Black-and-white photographic dustwrapper with white and black coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the back strip. In this book over 100 early homes of Texas, described region by region, in which some of the state's most interesting history took place or around. Some of the homes are still lived in by descendants of the original builders and others have been passed to the state and made in to museums. This book is an ex-library book, and, has the faults of same. Already described is the contact plastic which has attached the dustwrapper to the boards, also present are numerous library stamps and to the front panel the remnants of the due back pocket. age toning of the text block edges. The dustwrapper before it was 'contacted' to the board's were starting to show age and where numerous chips and rubs and tears along its edges and panels and quite nasty erosion to the top left-hand corner of the front panel and top edge of the back strip. Fading along the front fore edge. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. [6], VII - XII, [2], 3 - 188, [2] pages,. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Photographic. Quantity Available: 1.
