Philadelphia: People's Publishing Co.; (1896). First Edition . Hardcover. Salesman's sample, in fair condition. All original pages are present, many with small strips of paper overlaying them which give further explanation of what the scene shows (these will only exist in the salesman's sample. Quite a few of the pages have tears (a few with small chips), but the text is all present. Pencil scribbling on floral front endpaper. Binding shows cloth on front board, with leather edging on rear board. At rear of book are blank lined pages for subscriber's name and addresses (there are actually eight names filled in).
