Both volumes of this two volume set are in fine condition in 1/4 gold colored cloth and printed paper covered boards with gilt text on green title blocks on the spines. Both volumes are small quartos measuring 10 1/2" by 7". Without a dust jackets as issued; however the books are contained within a fine, paper covered slip case with a printed label on the spine end of the slip case. With an introduction by JeanJules-Verne and illustrations by Robert Shore. One of only 1,500 copies printed with this copy identified as number 969 and signed by the illustrator, Robert Shore. From the Earth to the Moon 206 pages with 8 color plates. Around the Moon contains pages 207 to 425 and is illustrated with 8 color plates. A beautiful copy with no prior ownership markings of any kind.
