Blue cloth with gilt lettering on spine and front board. The cloth is lightly soiled and has a bit of wear at edges. The jacket has chips at spine ends (not affecting any lettering), and a smaller chip at the top of the front panel that just barely affects two letters. $6.95 price on jacket flap; no names or other marking in or on the book. A tight, square copy with 602 pages. The basis for the 1955 film directed by Elia Kazan, starring James Dean.
