Hardcover, no dustjacket, this original edition is in excellent condition, the green cloth has a touch of rubbing at the corners and the folding map at page 118 has a few short tears, these tears were nearly unavoidable because of way the map is bound-in but please note that there is no loss of text and also please note that this map must be opened very carefully, both of the flaws are minor and there are no others to this fine gift/collector's copy, in addition to the the maps in the text there is also a second folding map in fine shape and several attractive drawings, "The following pages contain a series of sketches relating to the early days of the various localities that now constitute the Eastern District of Brooklyn"; 205 pages .
