Contains numerous pieces by the author about his life, all printed in poetry-style stanzas, but really just normal prose. He was born in a part of the Ukraine which was occupied by Poland up to 1939 when the area was ''Liberated'' by the Soviets, in 1941 he was taken to Germany as a ''voluntary'' worker, taken into the German Army in 1944 and joining the British in 1945. 195pp.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
