Black and white frontispiece portrait. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Damp staining to front board.Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge-wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing.
