London: Collins, 1953. Hardback. Very Good. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. Original pink cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Bottom edge untrimmed. Slight lean to spine, pushing to spine ends, light wear to extremities, edges toned. Faint offsetting to endpapers, else, clean and tight. In Gerald Wilkinson's charming original dust jacket: spine and rear panel toned with marks, rubbed at joints and edges, a little creased, chipping to spine ends. Very good/ very good A nice copy of Lehmann's sixth novel.
