Sobre este artículo
College Station, T, 1922. 437pp. Lacking original pictoral wrappers. Title page fore-edge chipped, upper left corner town away. Lightly tanned. Good. "One of the earliest serious studies of ranch economics, this book yields insight into the problems of ranching in southwest Texas in the early part of [the 20th] century. It also contains much local history of Sutton Co., Texas. Written as Youngblood's doctoral thesis in 1921, it was published the following year by Texas A&M University, where he became director of the extension service." - Reese. The present copy has a press bulletin for the ensuing publication by A&M laid in, which advertises the treatise as, "the first comprehensive treatment by the Texas Station of the business of grazing and should be of especial interest to graziers throughout the state." Illustrated with numerous charts and photographs. ADAMS HERD 2647. CARROLL, TEXAS COUNTY HISTORIES, p.139. JENKINS 4159. REESE, SIX-SCORE 120.
