Sobre este artículo

Published for the Institute of Economic Affairs by Andre Deutsch, London, 1964. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Very Good Condition/Good. prefatory note, foreword by author, about the author by Milton Friedman, statistical appendix, bibliography and index. Black coloured cloth covered boards with silver coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Black-and-white photograph of author to the rear dustwrapper panel. In this book the author maintains that " ... if the English in South Africa had continued the development of a liberal economy, it would have prevented all ameliorated racial tensions. Professor Hutt argues that the restriction is to policies arising from the racialist doctrines of the Nationalist Government and the efforts of the higher-paid white workers to protect privileged positions in the labour market would not have been possible had the economy being run on competitive lines." -- from the front fold over panel blurb. Rubbing to the back strip edges and book corners. A little bumping along the front fore edge. Browning of the text block edges with age toning of the pages. Previous owner's name to the top left hand corner of the free front endpaper. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. Rubbing of the panels and edges with some creasing also present. A 0.25 " tear to the lower edge of the rear panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [2], 3 - 189, [1] pages,.
