Sobre este artículo

London: Macmillan, 1934. Hardcover. Very Good. The 1934 reprint of the first edition by British economist and academic Joan Robinson who contributed to the development and furtherance of Keynesian economic theory. Harold Wilson's Gladstone Prize Book, embossed in gilt with 'Oxoniensis Academia' crest to upper cover. The 'Gladstone Memorial Prize' bookplate appears on the front paste-down with Wilson's ownership signature: 'J H Wilson, Jesus College, 1936'. Bookseller's ticket from Blackwells, Oxford. Hardcovers, very good, clean blue cloth, rubbed to spine ends and corners, spotting and thumb marks to text block edges. Internally crisp and clean, no other marks or inscriptions. This book comes from the private collection of British Prime Minister Harold Wilson and his wife Mary who died recently at the age of 102. During his lifetime Harold Wilson kept the book in the Ashley Gardens mansion flat in Westminster that the couple shared until his death in 1995. After she lost her husband Mary Wilson continued to live in the couple's flat, surrounded by a lifetime's accumulation of books and memories until 2016. Very Good 1934
