Hardcover, bound in cloth covered boards and wrapped in an illustrated paper dustjacket. The otherwise white dustjacket shows a degree of tanning from age, and there is a barely perceptible waviness to the edges of the pages and minimal shelfwear to the edges of the boards and dustjacket. Else, the binding is tight and secure, with a clean and unmarked interior. "Ratatouille Japonica" is a separate 35 page staple bound paperback tucked into the inside rear cover. Filled with dozens of the photographer's perceptions of real life in Japan, documented in beautiful black and white images..
