Sobre este artículo

Hamburg, Johann Nauman und Georg Wolff, 1675. Small 8vo. (15.7 x 9.3 cm). [xiv], 249, [vii] pp. Contemporary style half morocco over boards. Spine with blind-tooled title. Red edges. First German translation of the first mineralogical book by a British author. It deals with gemstones, and other interesting minerals. Printed label of the Henry Polissack Collection on the front pastedown. Japanese paper reinforcement in the gutter between endpapers and text block, binding simple. A good copy. Sinkankas, 4757; Ward & Carozzi, 1656 (second British edition).
