He is very close to his mother and father, but he feels like he doesn't fit in with the other kids in his town. One day, he sees a man jumping off a cliff and he is immediately fascinated. He starts to ask his parents about cliff jumping and they are unsure of what to tell him. They eventually convince him to stay away from the cliff and Charlie starts to build his own world. He meets a girl named Tish and they start to fall in love. However, when Charlie learns that Tish is moving away, he decides to follow her. He ends up jumping off a cliff after she leaves and he is hospitalised. This is a very sad story, but it also shows the power of love.; 8vo; 179 pages .
