Edge of the sea (Planet earth)

28 x 23 cm- A BRAND NEW, UNREAD BOOK-" I have to say that this series has been a joy read from one book to the next - and I think part of that joy is the approach to the various topics and subjects that the editors and authors have taken. This is a perfect book in case - which basically covers aspects from the shallows of the sea all the way to the near-coastal land in all its glorious variations. I have read a number of natural history books over the years and more often than not they try and focus on specific aspects. Now I appreciate that there is so much material out there that is being added to on a constant basis but it does mean sometimes you miss the bigger picture. Now this series and particularly this book often takes a slightly different approach and as a result, I feel provides more information on a varied and interesting mix."- Andrew
