Composers of weekly radio broadcasts on rear cover (pictured). "From 8 July 1925 onward, advertisements begin to appear for the New York Edison Hour, an hour-long program on WJZ featuring the Edison Ensemble, under the direction of Bonime. The show's format was essentially a short orchestral concert program, frequently 17 Olin Downes, "Music: Mischa Elman Returns," New York Times, 15 October 1928. In his biography of Elman, Allan Kozinn states that Bonime and Elman worked together from 1920 through 1928, at which time Marcel van Gool became Elman's regular accompanist. In the last several years of their partnership, however, Elman began devoting more energy to his string quartet and only performed with Bonime on several recordings." Rika Asai 2011.
