Small format, 125 x 115 mm, 5 x 4½ inches, cloth backed colour illustrated boards, pictorial endpapers, 26 text pages. Coloured frontispiece and 24 lovely colour plates (1 double) of toys and dolls. Story in verse. Edward is a little lost man doll who longs for family, friends and proper employment. Spine just slightly faded, corners very slightly rubbed. Title page slightly creased, 10 mm (½") closed tear at top edge (invisibly mended), page edges very faintly browned, contents very nice. A very good copy.
