Sobre este artículo
New York: Dutton, 1937. 1st US edition. Hardcover. Wilson was a physician, naturalist, ornithologist, painter and naturalist on both of Robert Scott's expeditions to the Antarctic. He was one of three who undertook a winter expedition to the rookeries of the Emperor penguin, the subject of Cherry Apsley-Garrard's book "The Worst Journey in the World". On the "Terra Nova" voyage, he was one of the group who raced to reach the South Pole, only to find that Amundsen had beat the British there. On the return journey, he and his companions died, a national tragedy in England at the time.
