Sobre este artículo

New York: Harper & Row,, 1967. First edition, second printing, of the author's analysis of executive management practices, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper: "To Jim Murphy from Peter F. Drucker". James D. Murphy (b. 1964) founded Afterburner, a consultancy firm which applies his experience as a US fighter pilot to modern business practices, his signature is above Drucker's inscription. Peter F. Drucker (1909-2005) has been acknowledged as the father of modern management studies and undertook landmark management consultancy projects for General Motors and IBM, among others. In The Effective Executive, Drucker focusses specifically on the conduct of the executives running these companies. The work identifies five essential principles of effective executive management and outlines how they may be learned. The second printing was published in April 1967, following the first of February. Octavo. Original black cloth, spine lettered in orange, publisher's device to front cover in orange. With dust jacket. Very light bumping and rubbing, slight toning to contents; light finger soiling and damp staining to jacket, minor rubbing and chipping to extremities, heavy sunning to spine with short closed tear at head, price-clipped: a near-fine copy in good jacket.
