These small booklets were intended to be suggestive of sex though generally stopped with the young man helping to tie the laces of a ladies' shoe. Variations of these appeared to a sex-starved public but those which actually dealt with the subject were seized and destroyed by the U.S Post Office. The cover here suggests sexual ideas (the rear cover which advertices a book on German atrocies particularly those on "helpless women". The latter with the pretense that it might educate the reader on the vicious Hun. The publisher also wrote a book on how to write dime novels. Such attempts attempted to entice the reader as late at the 1950's though the prices of the booklets had risen from 25 cents to one dollar.Bound in color pictorial wraps some soiling or foxing to covers, A very nice copy.
