Mizushima is physician and instructor at Tokyo Yakka Daigaku (Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences); his specialty is clinical applications of pharmaceuticals. Preface explains how this second edition was revised and rushed to market after first AIDS cases detected in Japan. Contents: 1. AIDS in Japan, clinic treatment of AIDS; 2. Explanation of AIDS pathology; 3. Explanation of transmission routes with discussion of homosexual haunts in the US, differences between American and Japanese "homos" (in Japan, there are much fewer, they do it to make money, but perhaps with aping of American ways the number will increase, and in fact there are American "homo-agents" at work in Japan as we speak), other routes of transmission; 4. Medical efforts; 5. Can Japan prevent AIDS?
