"El Padre Nuestro que el Yankee le Reza al oro de México" is a Spanish phrase that translates to "The Lord's Prayer that the Yankee prays to the gold of Mexico." The phrase is a line from a poem by Mexican writer Manuel Carpio. The poem criticizes the way that the United States and other foreign powers exploited Mexico's natural resources, particularly its gold, for their own gain.
