Portales, NM: Portales High School, 1940. Book. Poor. Soft cover. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. First Portales High School annul published in 12 years, first time called "El Portal" instead of "Yam". 1940. Brown cover has lots of wear including rubs, tears, and missing pieces on the spine. Pages have dirt spots, edge wear, foxing, and bends. First and last blank pages are coming unglued from inside of covers. Stitching holding the pages together is coming loose, but everything is still attached. LOTS of signatures inside. This copy belonged to junior Wayne Coplen, also known as "Boog", "Booger", and "Bugger". This book has a LOT of wear, but is still completely legible and full of irreplaceable memories..
