Sobre este artículo

Henry Regnery, 1963. Hardcover. Near Fine in Very Good DJ. Most likely a first printing thus, near fine blue cloth hardcover shows a name along hige at front endpaper and some other very light trace wear, in a very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows a rub blemish at rear panel probably from some sort of sticker removal, nild exposure toning along spine and edgewear that includes a number of small tears. 305 pages translated by Elisabeth Mayer and Louise Bogan. Still a pleasing copy "here presented for the modern reader a brilliant new translation of the work which, since its original publication in 1809, has influenced the development of the psychological novel.

Sinopsis

Elective Affinities, also translated under the title Kindred by Choice, is the third novel by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, published in 1809. The title is taken from a scientific term once used to describe the tendency of chemical species to combine with certain substances or species in preference to others.
