Wheaton, MD: Frederick Research Corporation WYSIWYG pricing--no added shipping charge for standard shipping within USA. No date, approximately 1960. Four volumes, each side stapled in pale green card covers with cloth tape on spine, titles & decorations printed in black ink on front covers & spine, not paginated, about 10 cm thick in all. Moderately browned, rubbed, soiled, tape beginning to fray at spine ends, repaired surface chip on front cover of volume 1. Contains descriptions of test equipment approved for government use. For each test instrument, there is a photograph, a description of its function, reference to similar equipment, an electromechanical description, a physical description, and information on manufacturer or contractor. The typical description is two or three pages, but more complex equipment is allowed more space. All printed with Multilith from masters prepared with a proportional-spacing typewriter--looks like the production of an IBM Executive to me. Supposedly there was a set of 19 volumes (some bound together), but these are the only four we have seen. Volume 1: Voltage and Current Measuring Equipment. Volume 2: Frequency Measuring Equipment. Volume 3: Waveform Measuring and/or Analyzing Equipment. Volume 4: Signal Generating Equipment. Shipping weight 11 lbs.. Soft Cover. VG-/No dj. 27½ X 21½ cm.

Books are offered subject to prior sale. You may return any book within 14 days for a refund; if it was not as described, we will also refund return shipping costs (but please e-mail us first). You can place credit card orders through Biblio, or we will ship upon receipt of payment by check or money order.
