London: The Readers Library Publishing Company, 1928. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. 12mo., 182pp. plus 6 pages of ads. Solid First Edition of this anthology of stories about a criminal. Clean throughout with fairly moderate page edge toning. Binding a bit shaken but firm. Light edge-wear. Unclipped, though unpriced, dust-jacket, has a couple of large pieces out of the heel and rear panel. Closed tear on front panel. Spine toned. Edge-wear and rubbing. Not perfect for sure but still presentable. A collectable copy of at a great price. (Hubin, p.411).
