Such a revision requires the development of fundamental principles of selection, related vitally on the one hand to the aims and activities of life, and on the other to the nature and needs of children. The first eight chapters of this book are devoted to the development of such principles. The second part of the book makes application of these principles in offering a suggestive curriculum.''
