New York: Collins, Keese & Co, 1839. Hardcover. Octavo, [8], [2], v-viii, 261 pages. In Good condition. Bound in full contemporary embossed purple cloth, with gilt titling to spine. Boards show moderate fading to brown in areas, slight discoloration to covers, and chipping and tears to spine edges and corners. Boards slightly shaken, but binding otherwise tight. Text block age toned with extensive foxing and age-toning to pages throughout interiorly. One plate present and intact facing title page, and one large folding table at back. Previous owner bookplate on front free end paper: "Library of David Harlan". Ex-library copy with usual markings, including a bookplate to front free end paper, institutional stamps to several pages, and call number written in pencil. MF Consignment. 1358672.
