Pages are moderately tanned and occasionally foxed throughout. End papers are more notably tanned. Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Heavier tanning to text block edges. Binding remains firm. Tape marks to end papers. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail. Sunning to spine. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Gilt lettering has become dull.
