Sobre este artículo
John Mortimer, London, 1844. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. John Mortimer, London, 1844. 1st Edition . Very Good. 8vo, library rebound in green cloth with gilt tiles on spine & library name on cover. Rolph emigrated to Canada himself & was the emigration agent for the Canadian government. This covers a period when he was trying to encourage emigration to the colonies with some success. Ex reference library with minimal markings, bookplate to front pastedown, single stamp & number on front endpapers, single stamp on rear endpapers & upper edge, no other obvious library markings. There is a tear to the title page & some underlining also, very small tear to the base of the last few pages (see pictures). Other than this, the book is in incredible condition for it's age. A scarce original volume.
