Kyne's western novel, which is set on a ranch in California owned by the author's Lee Purdy character. Includes a pair of illustrations by Dean Cornwell. This book was made into a 1926 silent film starring Jack Holt. --- In full ribbed green cloth-covered boards with cover & spine gilt-stamped titling and decorations. Volume lacks the dust jacket. --- With prior owner's signature and return request to front paste-down, repaired front and rear hinges (which had loosened) and dulling to spine gilding, else a tightly-bound, sound copy.; 12mo - 7 to 7-1/2 in. tall; (10), 369 pages .
