London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1938. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Publisher's pale blue boards with black lettering to the front board and spine. Blue end-papers. A tiny label to the top left hand corner of the front paste-down otherwise a near fine (or better) copy in a VG+ D/W priced 7/6 net to the spine (as called for). The D/W has a touch of creasing and minor wear at the head and tail of the spine and a closed tear (almost imperceptible) to the bottom edge adjacent to the spine but is overall a lovely near fine example. A superior copy.
