Couple of small tears to top and bottom edge of spine of cloth. Slight wear to corners of cloth. Slightly sunned spine. Green cloth with black decoration and lettering. These little chapters on the counties of England are not the outcome of original research. They have been brought together, in the course of several years of pleasant wandering and browsing, with the intention not merely of indicating the present-day situation and activities of the counties, but of presenting to the traveller and general reader something of the spirit and tradition of old England.
