First published in 1904. This work follows the history of English furniture from the reign of William and Mary to the early nineteenth century. Designers and style include Chippendale, Matthias Darly, Hepplewhite, Sheraton and more. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, excellent with minor bumping to the extremities. Unclipped dust wrapper is smart with minor chipping to the extremities and a few closed tears so the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with light age toning to the first and last pages only. Some text block unopened. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
