Lacks top quarter inch of spine, four inch tear rear hinge, inner hinges stretched. ; Small 4to; Embossed leather, 28cm, illustrations, 11, 17, 581, 106, 762, 78p., index. **The engraved title page is The Holy Bible, According to the Authorized Version, Containing the Old and New Testaments, with Original Notes, &c. A note pasted to the front end-paper states "This Bible was presented to the Free Will Baptist Church and Society. May 11th , 1866, By Sister Currier for the use of the Desk." Hills #1422 is the closest match. Our copy was stereotyped by Connor & Cooke, printed by Charles Gaylord. The additional paginations are the Preface by T.C., Illustrations of Various Passages of the Holy Scriptures, The Apocrypha, and A Concordance by James Brown. The family record pages have not been used. .
