Bound in contemporary half calf. The spine with raised bands and a contrasting label. The front joint is beginning to split at the foot and the top corners are bumped. The contents are crisp and tight. Woodbury's process marked an important advance in photographic printing processes. The volume also contains a paper on Coffee by Baron Liebig, and on The Electrical Principles of the Atlantic Telegraph by G.C. Foster.
