Compiled by Mario Cesariny, this collection of poems has appended to it a number of documents from Bretenbach's trial, a court case that sent him to prison. Laid in is an Autograph Letter signed, from Cesariny. As Cesariny was writing in English, there are a number of corrections, but he informs the recipient (the Rosemonts) of Breytenbachs greatness and confinement and notes that with their publishing ability in Chicago, they could spread the news about Breytenbach.
