Sobre este artículo
London: Chapman and Hall, 1837. unbound. Map. Engraving. 13 1/4" x 16". Small repair to upper left margin otherwise in good conditon.

This incredibly detailed map of Dublin and its surroundings from the 19th century, describes from Kildare and south to Killiney Bay. There is subtle outline hand coloring. Dublin, capital of the Republic of Ireland, is on Ireland's east coast at the mouth of the River Liffey. The Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge, or SDUK was formed in 1826 and published low cost maps with the goal of reaching a large market while still maintaining high quality and precision.
